We are currently seeking to hire a Communications and Marketing Manager to join our Corporate team. The Communications and Marketing Manager assists with development and implementation of integrated marketing communications strategies in a fast-paced environment for a nationally recognized, not-for-profit leader in providing housing and services for older adults and families in Kentucky. This role includes participating in the creation of strategic communications plans, development of marketing materials, implementation of internal communication programs and tactics, planning and execution of special events and developing new brands.

Bachelor’s Degree in related field
2-5 years of professional experience
Proficiency in MS Office, Social Media, and WordPress
Familiarity with Stylebook
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with individual communities and departments across the Masonic Homes’ 18 brands to determine marketing and communications needs
Assure timely production of materials by worknig with internal departments and outside vendors
Assist with cost tracking to ensure that projects are within budgeted specifications
Generate content for and post to employee intranet on a regular basis
Work with Corporate Human Resources department to communicate all employee-related information, including orientation, benefits and recognition programs
Generate content for and posts for social media pages
Maintain and update each of the company’s websites using WordPress
Work with outside agencies to develop and monitor digital advertising
Assist with creation of content for company publications
Adhere to brand standards for all business lines

Sponsorship Sales Manager
Kentucky Derby Festival
A member of the Kentucky Derby Festival Sponsorship Sales Team that is responsible for implementing all aspects of the sponsorship program at KDF with the primary task of sponsorship sales
Develops, manages and maintains a list of Derby Festival sponsorship accounts as assigned by the Director of Sponsorship Sales
Schedules and conducts sales appointments
Develops new corporate relationships and cultivates existing ones in order to obtain sales goals with primary emphasis on available Event sponsorships, Official Product sponsors, Pegasus Pin sponsors and Sampling/Display sponsors
Works with other Sales Team members in a coordinated effort to sell and facilitate the sale of hospitality sponsorships to Thunder Over Louisville, KDF Package Program sponsorships, parade entries, balloon race entries and promotional partnerships garnering revenue for KDF
Conducts sponsor follow-up meetings and account servicing duties for both assigned and new Festival sponsorships
Writes and prepares sponsorship proposals
Coordinates with the Director of Sponsorship Sales on matters concerning budgets, sales expenses and overall Festival objectives, etc.
Responsible for meeting sponsorship sales goals as assigned
Drafts sponsorship contracts with the assistance of KDF staff and legal counsel
Works closely with other KDF Staff and Departments as necessary to implement overall Derby Festival Marketing/Sponsorship programs
Facilitates and coordinates sponsor promotional plans as necessary
Attends and is working Staff at Derby Festival events and functions
Any assignments as designated by the President and CEO and/or the Director of Sponsorship Sales
