Digital Media Coordinator

The Digital Media Coordinator will be in charge of the day-to-day social media operations of Courtesy Buick GMC. The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for generating/creating/finding content to post to various social media channels. Candidates must work with third party vendors to coordinate messages/events to ensure brand consistency across all traditional and digital mediums. Candidate must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. Desired candidate must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Social Media Analyst must work in conjunction with the General Manager to continually train associates as well as management on best practices as well as new social media trends. Candidate must assist sales and service employees on how to best use their personal and professional social media channels to promote themselves and the dealership. Candidate must be familiar with social media reporting tools and analytics to prove ROI and gauge the success of the social media efforts/advertising. Candidate must have customer service experience. This position reports directly to the General Manager. In addition to social media, this position will also be responsible for monitoring online review sites, responding, and notifying the appropriate departments and managers. The Digital Media Coordinator will also be responsible for updating the website and writing a monthly newsletter.

Candidate should possess the follow skills/qualifications:
• B.A. Communication/Marketing/Journalism/Public Relations or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience (combination of work and education may be considered)
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• B2C experience using social media (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, etc.)
• Knowledge of WordPress, Hootsuite, Adobe Photoshop, ShortStack a plus
• Management experience a plus
• Social media advertising experience a plus
• Experience tailoring messages to different demographics
• Knowledge of the auto industry a plus
This is a full time position that requires 40 hours per week. Candidate must work Saturdays. Sunday and a day off during the week will be scheduled. This position is a constantly evolving one and duties may expand substantially.

Director of Public Relations
Company: Louisville Regional Airport Authority
Under the policy and direction of the Executive Director, establishes and maintains an easily accessible line of communication between the Airport Authority and the news media, airport users, and airport neighbors; residents and businesses in the region; government, business and civic leaders; airport tenants; and airport employees. Promotes the use of both Louisville International Airport and Bowman Field through public relations channels, i.e., special events, tours, speeches, media relations, and social media. Provides direct supervision to PR Manager and PR Specialist. Directs the Airport Volunteer program including volunteer development.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and implements comprehensive media relations and public relations programs for the Airport Authority; advises staff and the Board on media and public relations issues and in the absence of the Executive Director serves as the principal media spokesperson for the Airport Authority. In close cooperation with the Director of Marketing, prepares various Airport Authority publications such as internal and external newsletters, airport guide, and annual reports, develops media emergency procedures and stages special events, develops and edits stories and features, writing, proofing and photographing. Disseminates information, coordinates airport related activities with the Louisville Area Chamber of Commerce (GLI), Visitors and Convention Bureau, Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, Mayor,, State legislative delegation, Congressional Offices, and general public. Advises staff and Board on items of sensitivity, keeping staff abreast of media information regarding aviation. Handles complaints, coordinating responses to complaints, public records request, and questions. Participates, as required, at neighborhood gatherings regarding aviation related matters such as noise abatement. Coordinates news conferences and prepares news releases regarding Airport Authority activities. Coordinates special events and conferences and schedules and appears as speaker at civic clubs and neighborhood functions. Maintains U.S. Title VI compliance with the FAA and serves as Title VI liaison with the FAA. Serves as official open records request (ORR) staff contact. Provides supervision to PR staff and oversees the operation of the information booth and tours at the Airport Authority. Is active in the creation of public relations activities, events and releases on all positive news items which will improve and enhance the image of the airports and the Louisville Regional Airport Authority.
Develops, implements, monitors and coordinates the airport’s customer satisfaction program and social media. Develops and offers specialized customer satisfaction training to staff and tenants; and coordinates customer satisfaction research and recognition programs. Coordinates the Authority’s economic impact research and reports. Researches and drafts presentation materials for staff and Board use. Develops professional briefing papers and white paper reports for the Executive Director and Board. Provides technical assistance to Marketing, Finance, and Properties departments.

Licenses, certifications, or registrations required: Must possess a valid drivers license.
Knowledge and ability: Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree from an accredited university with major course work in journalism, communications, public relations or related field. Responsible for performing all job duties with due regard to safety and security requirements. Must be able to maintain a cooperative relationship with fellow employees, tenants and the public. Must conduct all duties with tact, in a firm but not argumentative manner, so as to be objective in all dealings with members of the media, the public, and airport tenants.
Minimum of five years of management level experience in public relations or a related field. At least two years of supervisory management experience.
